Initial Steps
The first step we take in this remediation process is isolation. We contain and isolate your environment, so that if there is anything in there, it can’t spread. That means that before we do the cleaning, we do a lot of construction. We make barriers that close off doors, HVAC registers, windows, and anything else that could open elsewhere completely. That’s not the end of what we build, though: from there, we make a clean room and a staging area. With that, our personnel can go in and come out without there being any risk of cross-contamination.
Right Tools for the Job
At Scope Environmental, we utilize many cutting-edge technologies as well as tried and true methods. So, when we’re doing your cleaning and disinfection, we make sure that our staff has the right tools for the work ahead. That means everyone wears, head to toe, protective personal equipment that’s been approved by the EPA and the CDC. This is exactly what you think it is and so much more: gloves, hazmat suits, protection for shoes, protective face mask respirators with filtrations and so much more. That’s just what our staff wears. Once we get all that on, then we place some top quality negative pressure air purifier machines in specific structure locations, then we turn them on. That creates a wind tunnel. This wind tunnel intakes any airborne spores, eliminating COVID-19 from the environment and so much else.
